Doha (iv)
5th Day - Pig was on a training course, so I nua-ed again until she was back. After which we went roaming around her apartment. Did some shopping in Centrepoint and had BBQ meat (again) for dinner.
6th Day - Pig's turn to nua. But I managed to pry her out of the bed before the evening comes. And I get to go to the games again!
This time we were in the Khalifa stadium for the Athletics events. 4x100, 4x400, 1500, 5000. These people can REALLY run!
The runners
We left slightly earlier, before the last prize award, so that the cab snatching gala does NOT happen again.
We went to the Souq again to collect our abayas. =)
Souq is near the Corniche
Was quite afraid that one of these will turn to talk to us
We got the shopkeeper to introduce us to a goldsmith to make a pendant of our names in arabic. =D
Then we took a stroll along the shops and we were quite surpised with what we found.
A donkey, an Arabian who could speak a little mandarin (who kept asking us about the chinese paintings in his shop), yummilicious crepes...

"Hee haw" it said
And it was time for dinner. Pig brought me to the Fish Market of the Al Bandar Group of Restaurants. Their seafood is SUPER FRESH! YUM!
Our most extravagant dinner
Took a walk along the Corniche after the dinner. But the wind is blowing STRONG and COLD. We nearly froze to death while waiting for a cab.
