Memories of a childhood friend

I don't even remember his name.

Adrian? Michael? These are the 2 names that came into my mind when my mum told me about him.

That just shows how long we've not seen each other.

He's the son of my mum's friend, Susan. I remember he used to have some problems with his leg. Bones not developed properly or something like that. I used to remember him as the robot-boy coz he's always in his metal leg clutches.

Our mums, including Aunty Lily, would bring us to one another's home quite frequently. My sis, me, him, his younger brother and Aunty Lily's 2 girls used to play together. Hide and seek, transformers toys, masak masak, etc. We could never play catching. Because of his mum. She would scream at him not to run. And so we're stuck to hide and seek.

Dunno what happened, the visits got lesser, and then to none. Prolly it was because of school?

The last I heard, he became a dentist. Lost his metal leg clutches long ago, and is very handsome.



But today, he passed away. Suddenly.
