Hehehe... i'm home...!

was back this afternoon after more than 10 hrs of SLEEPING in the train.. muahahaha... but.. but... i wanna go back to where i came home from... i'm missing the sun, sand n salty water already!

we set off from Lavender's bus station at ard 8pm, reached Jerteh at ard 6 the next morning.. took a cab to KB where we were supposed to take a boat to the island. as expected, no shops were opened except a coffeeshop. we had nasi lemak to start our day as we waited for the agency for Bubu to open, and also for CL's fren, Pei San, to arrive.

deng le you deng, finally at 8.30am the guy from the agency came to look for us.. after registering our names, we were ready to board the speedboat, but PS still hasn't arrive, so..? we waited again until ard 9.30am before we really boarded the boat. the sea was quite choppy, so we were bumping up n down.. but was really quite fun attempting to take a foto.. hehe.. we then had to transfer to a smaller speedboat to get to our resort.. we were given a green welcome drink... then finally checked into our rooms.. while we were clearing our stuffs, CL n PS went to ask the price for PADI open water course.. after some bargaining, we did our course for RM730. :)

first lesson was quite tiring and traumatic.. Michael our angmo instructor, taught us how to set up our gear, then we had to carry the tank, plus weights, ard 5m from the dive shop to the sea.. YES.. sea... there isn't any pool, so we had to learn our basics in the sea.. breathe wif mouth, descend, clear half mask, basic hand signs, share alternative air source, etc.. drank a lot of sea water, thru mouth and nose.. :S after the practicals, we had to study the theory... ugh... so rushed coz we had to complete the course within 4days and we started quite late...

becoz i was the only one who stayed up that nite to complete chapters 1-3.. i could enjoy my breakfast in peace the 2nd morning.. after breakfast, we started by going through the revisions for chapters 1-3, then we went over to the dive shop for video.. chapters 1 - 5! then later, Mark, another instructor cum boss of diveshop, joined us for our 2nd dive lesson. this time we learnt how to clear full filled mask, swim wifout mask, practiced bouyancy (i suck at it!), buddy breathe, and i can't remember wat else!

after the lesson, i think i really did too badly for the bouyancy thing, that they decided that Michael will 1-1 coach me the next day, while the 2 will be taken care of by Mark. :( anyways, that nite we had to complete the revision for chapters 4 and 5, but i couldn't keep my eyes open at all.. so i slept thru till the next morning...

went thru the revisions (i filled in answers during bkf :P), then had the first dive wif Michael. did the bouyancy thing again and some other skills, then we dived ard the reef.. i found nemo!!! damn i no haf no underwater cam! i saw Trigger fish, sea cucumber (like shit!), corals and some other fish species which i dun recognise.

later we went for our first open water dive, which i did badly again coz of my buoyancy.. then we had to do another dive the next morning before we leave.. :( was so stressed coz of that.. then we had our theory exam that evening, and *haolian* i did best! hehe... 40/50.. i passed the theory.. but practicals still hafta wait till the next day..

was so worried that i would fail and waste my time there.. but surprisingly, i did not too bad the last dive! hehehe... prolly the beer we had the previous nite helped! hahaha! so i am a certified Open Water Diver!

CL, KF and PS left in the afternoon for home, while Irean, QL and me island hopped over to Bersah to stay for another 2 nites... i nid some relaxation after 4 stressing days! besides, i wasn't tanned enuf.. how to show ppl that i've been to the island? hahaha...

we went over to Abdul's chalet. lodging, food there is cheap sia.. we suntanned, snorkel (i saw sharks! turtles, jellyfish, nemo, bitten by plantents(sp)), ate, practically rotted for the 2 nites there... and now i'm BLACK...

took a cab to Tanah Merah train station and bought our tix back home.. nua-ed from 4pm to 8.45pm... there we be-friended Datuk Penghulu (of Kelantan i think)... a very nice n frenly man... was chatting with us throughout our rotting time... wanted us to stay over so that he could bring us ard the town, but we had already bought our returning tix. then he had to leave to head an arrest for illegal Indo immgrants.. but he came over to the train station to send us off.. told us to look for him when we go back there.. :)

i fell asleep the moment i hit the bunk.. blardie tired from all that waiting... was already morning when i woke up.. then finally i'm home!!
